About

Why this exists, how it works, and what it stands for.

CypherToshi is a project by Tech1k, a technologist building free tools and guides for people who want privacy, financial autonomy, and control over their own data.

Why this exists

Privacy is not about having something to hide. It is the normal condition of a free person, and it is quietly being taken apart by mass surveillance, data brokers, and financial gatekeeping. As cash disappears and money becomes programmable and watched, the ability to transact and speak without permission matters more, not less.

This site exists to put the tools and the knowledge for digital self-defense within reach of anyone, at no cost. Monero is a large part of that, because money you cannot spend privately is not fully yours.

How it works

Everything here runs in your browser. There are no accounts, no servers handling your input, no analytics, no ads, and nothing logged. You can load a tool, disconnect from the internet, and it still works. The cryptographic tools, like the Monero explainer, run real cryptography on your device rather than showing an animation.

Open and verifiable

Trust should not be required. The source code is open under the MIT license, and the writing is under CC BY 4.0, so you can read it, audit it, and reuse it. The Monero cryptography is checked against the project's own test vectors, which you can run yourself at /tests/.

Support

The site is free and always will be. If it is useful to you, you can support it with Monero on the donate page. That is the only ask, and there will never be ads or tracking.
